Event 3: LASER and De-Colonizing AI
This past Thursday, I attended LASER: De-colonizing Artificial Intelligence which is a continuation of the LASER talks hosted by Stanford University and funded by the institution of Art, Science, and Technology. Today’s discussion was started off with a word from Satinder Gill, where she claims that the meeting was to establish the purpose of machine learning within society to bring about good.
